What kind of closed caption camara system works best for watching horses foal?

I don't know about a closed caption system but my family set up an outdoor security camera w/ sound that connected to the T.V. so we could each take turns watching/sleeping in front of it. With the sound turned up you can hear when the mare starts to go into labor which always woke me up even when I was in my bedroom. We were lucky though b/c my dad had his own alarm installation company so he knew how to set the stuff up. So there is an option call a few alarm companies to ask them if they could do something like that for you.What kind of closed caption camara system works best for watching horses foal?

some people have used baby monitors, sound only , to monitor horses.....some have used the outdoor security cameras they have bought from local hardward stores. Some of my goat owner friends have those in thier kidding stalls and seem to like how they work ,and said they are not hard to put up. It all depends on how much you want to spend, and how many features do you want, black/white or color images, wireless or not.... all that stuff. If you feel you can not install one yourself, would say contact a local security system in your area as they can do it for you as well as provide the camera and equipement needed.
There is something new now that you can use that is inserted and stiched into the horses vagina so that when she starts to go into labor it will call any phone number that you program into it and when it does call it says ';foal alert'; so that you know your mare is trying to give birth. Not exactly completely sure how it works with the calling but i have heard it call someone when the mare was in labor. SO GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS on the new baby.
