well i have downloaded some movies for me and my wife to watch but she is hard of hearing. i was trying to figure out is there any way to add caption to the movies i downloaded?How to get closed caption for downloaded video?
First, please use the right terminology. The term you want is ';subtitle';. Closed caption only applies to TV broadcasts

How to DISPLAY the subtitles with your movie... Is a slightly different problem. Basically, you can't use Windows Media Player. Use VLC or Media Player Classic which supports external subtitles.
