How do you turn on the caption on a Sony Aqua TV?

Hi,


On the remote, I pushed menu --%26gt;option---%26gt;caption setup,


but there is no ';caption on'; anywhere in the menu.


This probalby really seems like a dumb question, but I'd appreciate it if someone who knows to answer the question and not make fun of me.How do you turn on the caption on a Sony Aqua TV?

Just choose caption 1 or caption 2 in menu. if the tv signal contains captions then it will display captions automatically otherwise the caption options wouldn't display anything.
It doesnt say caption on, you have to chose the type of caption I think.. I think it goes by like caption 1, caption 2 and so on..
